We are a friendly family run catering servicecafe and take away, focusing on tasty, great value for money home cooked dishes

Established in 1988, serving all areas of South Wales.

If you are looking for private or corporate catering, a breakfast to start the day or a freshly made lunch or early dinner; we will accomodate all your requirements.  Using ingredients of the highest quality in every menu option we offer.

Our cafe menu is designed to meets everyones tastes.  Including breakfasts, roast dinners, curry, and a wide variety of light meals and snacks.  

There are breakfast and lunch offers as well as weekly specials.

Our coffee is a lovely roast with a smooth creamy taste, from Ferrarris Coffee, available as Espresso, Americano, Latte, Cappuccino, and Mocha.  Of course we also serve tea, including a wide variety of fruit options, and Cadburys Hot Chocolate, or if you prefer there is a great selection of cold beverages including our Ice Cream Milkshake.

It is our passion to provide fresh, delicious catering, from a choice of our set menus or through our bespoke service. We provide catering for all occasions and functions; including birthdays, anniversaries, christenings, intimate gatheringsweddings, funerals, corporate events and conferences.

Delivered to your home or event location.

Our days start early with the preparation of all the wholesome ingredients used to create foods that people will love to eat . From roasting the meats used in our sandwiches, to making the pizza and quiche, along with all other dishes.

Our Chef is available to discuss your every need, and is happy to assist you to create the perfect menu for your event. From your very first call to the collection or delivery of your freshly prepared menu, we’ll ensure your order is exactly what you want and is ready when you require it.

All menus are served on returnable stainless steel platters and for your convenience come complete with disposable plates and serviettes.

Appropriate utensils are also provided when required.

Our Chef and General Manager Les Cox has been working in the catering industry for the last 24 years.

His first placement was with Compass Catering, progressing to Chef de Partie at the Coed-y-Mwstwr before having the opportunity to serve the Welsh Rugby World Cup squad of 1999 at the Copthorne Hotel. Following this he became the 2nd Chef at Miskin Manor, before becoming the head chef at The Royal Porthcawl Golf Club, serving the Senior Ryder Cup players.

Looking for a change of direction Les took on the head chef position at the Plough and Harrow serving gastropub food. Looking for more family time he took on the position at Taste Buds and is having positive reactions to the recipes now used at the cafe, as well as the presentation of the buffet items.

He will continue to add his own flair to all of the cafe and catering menus.
