Following your ceremony celebrate with us at the Park Conservative Club.

Unlike some of the local hotels we offer and individual service, priding ourselves on a dedicated service with personal touches, so we can ensure all parties have a special and fabulous day.

Located just outside the City centre, the club is a fine example of a Victorian building, is easily accessible from Cardiff registry office, and local beauty spots suitable for fantastic wedding photographs.

Work with our Wedding team to plan your special day, from the Wedding Breakfast to the Evening Reception.  We can help advise on decoration, seating plans, cars, day and evening entertainment and of course menu selection.

We are able to accommodate parties of 20-200, no matter the size of the party we will help you design your day to suit you individual requirements and budget.

Bespoke Weddings.

Our venue hire price is fixed at the time of booking, even if you book for a future date. Avoid disappointment by booking early, and enjoy the planning without budget worries.

Work with your Personal Wedding Co-ordinator to arrange all aspects of your special day, from transport from your ceremony to the weddings favours for your day guests.

We work with a talented and experienced group of suppliers and are able to offer wedding cars, wedding cake, room decoration, balloons, entertainment, security and flowers.

Create your own Wedding Breakfast from our Wedding Menu as well as a choice of catering for your evening reception.  Our chef is happy to discuss and plan a menu to suit your individual tastes and requirements.

Select a drinks package or if you prefer the bar is available throughout the day and night offering a wide variety of drinks.

Following your breakfast, you are able to relax and mingle with your guests while the room is transformed to the reception space.

Whether you choose live entertainment or a DJ, the dance floor is exclusively yours until midnight.  Extended hours may be available, please discuss these requirements with your wedding co-ordinator.

Terms and Conditions.

  • A £500.00 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking.  
  • The deposit can be paid by cash, cheque, credit/debit card or bank transfer.
  • A security deposit of £125.00 is required, but is refunded subject to the room being left in a tidy undamaged condition.
  • All losses or damages caused to the premises or the equipment belonging to the premises shall be the responsibility of the client.  Costs will be deducted from the security deposit, if the costs exceed the value of the security deposit, the client remains liable to pay the outstanding amount, which will be required within 7 days of the date of hire.
  • Anti-social behaviour will result in the loss of the security deposit.
  • All breakages of glass wear and crockery as well as loss of cutlery and serving platters must be paid for. Costs will be deducted from the security deposit, if the costs exceed the value of the security deposit, the client remains liable to pay the outstanding amount, which will be required within 7 days of the date of hire.
  • Cancellations must be in writing.  
  1. If the cancellation is made up to 6 months prior to the wedding no additional charges will be made.
  2. If the cancellation is made 3 to 6 months prior to the wedding 25% of the outstanding balance will be required.
  3. If the cancellation is 1 to 3 months prior to the wedding 50% of the outstanding balance will be required.
  4. If the cancellation is less than 1 month prior to the wedding 75% of the outstanding balance will be required.
  • There is a strict no smoking policy within the building.  Persons found smoking within the premises will be fined in accordance with the National Government Legislation.
  • The premises shall not be used for any unlawful purpose, or that which may bring the premises or members of staff into disrepute.
  • Security may be provided at the listed additional cost.
  • Any person found bringing their own drinks into the premises will have said drinks confiscated and will be escorted from the building.
  • Any person deemed to be intoxicated will be refused admission and asked to vacate the premises.
  • You are permitted to use your own live entertainment or DJ provided they are able to provide valid public liability insurance and PAT testing certificates.  These are required 14 days prior to the date of the wedding, and a copy will be taken and kept on file.
  • You are permitted to use your own wedding venue decoration company provided they are able to provide valid public liability insurance and any appropriate PAT testing certificates.  These are required 14 days prior to the date of the wedding, and a copy will be taken and kept on file.
  • The client is responsible for insuring all of their own equipment personal belongings brought onto the premises.
  • Any sub contracted companies are responsible for insuring all of their own equipment personal belongings brought onto the premises.
  • Taste Buds Catering Services and The Park Conservative Club shall not be held responsible for any loss or damage to any property or any injury sustained during the hire of the premises, arising from any cause whatsoever.  This includes any loss due to breakdown of machinery, failure of electrical supply, water leakage or flood, fire, riot government restriction or act of God which may cause the premises to temporarily close or the wedding interrupted.
  • Outstanding balances are due 3 weeks prior to the date of the wedding.
  • Menu choices must be finalised 3 weeks prior to the wedding date.
  • Catering numbers must be finalised 3 weeks prior to the wedding date.
  • Taste Buds must be informed of any guests requiring a vegetarian menu at the same time the menu and numbers are finalised, 3 weeks prior to the wedding.
  • Taste Buds must be informed of any guest requiring a menu adapted for food allergies.  The specific food allergy will be required at the same time the menu and numbers are finalised, 3 weeks prior to the wedding.
  • Taste Buds must be provided exact seating information for all vegetarian guests and guests suffering with food allergies 2 days prior to the wedding.
